Home Screen Overview

Whenever you open the Campaign Audience Builder, you start on the home screen. The home screen consists of 4 sections.

  1. Navigation Bar
  2. Home Action Bar
  3. Audience Filter Section
  4. Audience Record Table

1. Navigation Bar

  1. In the top left corner, you see the name and the icon of the Campaign Audience Builder. There is no functionality.
  2. In the top right corner, you see the Help? – button. By clicking the button, you are forwarded to our knowledge base to find the installation assistant, the user manual, the release notes, and contact forms for support or feedback.

2. Home Action Bar

  1. To the left of the Home Action Bar, you always see the selected filter folder’s name. Below the name, you see the number of shown audiences. This shown number is based on all audiences in this folder or is changed when you enter text filters into the filter field (2).
  2. The search/filter field enables you to filter the shown audiences by entering text. The entered text is compared to the audience’s names. When the entered string is included in the audience’s names, only these audiences will be shown. You can erase your search text by clicking the X to the right side of the search field.
  3. To the Home Action Bar’s right, you can create a New Audience by clicking the button.

3. Audience Filter Section

In this section, you can filter the shown audiences, based on predefined folders.

  1. Recent – All recent audiences, the user interacted with (created, changed, run).
  2. Created by Me – All audiences, the user created itself. Sharing can be Public or Private.
  3. Public Audiences – All audiences with Sharing = Public.
  4. Private Audiences – All audiences with Sharing = Private. Normal users will only see their own private audiences. If you change the sharing settings so that private audiences are visible to others or use the System administrator profile, you will see more than your own audiences.
  5. All Audiences – Here, you see all audiences the user has access to. Public and private audiences and audiences of other users.

4. Audience Record Table

  1. Run Button – By clicking the run button, the audience will be executed again, and you will be forwarded to the results list.
  2. Edit Audience – By clicking the audience name, you open the audience canvas to see the criteria and to edit the audience.
  3. Audience Information – The table shows information like Description, Created By, Created On, and Last Run.
  4. Schedule Icon – If an audience is scheduled, you will see the schedule icon. The icon can be blue (active schedule) or grey (planned schedule).
  5. Audience Menu Button – By clicking the menu button, a sub-menu opens. You can check the details, schedule the audience, show the last run results, or delete the audience.
